Jeremy Stein, MA
Director, Center for Holy Lands Studies
Originally hailing from Long Island, New York, Jeremy Stein has served as Director of the Center for Holy Lands Studies since 2024, while previously serving in the Role of Teaching Specialist since 2017. Prior to his time at the CHLS, Jeremy served five years in Pastoral Ministry at Neighborhood Assembly of God in Bellmore, New York. Jeremy holds bachelor’s degrees in biblical studies and Pastoral Ministries from Zion Bible College in Haverhill Massachusetts, as well as a Master’s Degree in Ancient Judaism and the Origins of Christianity from Nyack College in New York City. He currently serves as Professor of Archeology at North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well Professor of New Testament and Biblical Languages at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. However, Jeremy’s greatest passion in his work is teaching the world of the Bible through the context of the lands themselves, which he has done now for over a decade. Jeremy resides in Springfield Missouri, with his wife Miriam and their son Zachery.
Trina Russell
Programs and Project Manager
Trina was born in Fridley, Minnesota, but lived in Arizona and California during her early years. She is an alumnus of Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA and brings over 12 years of event planning and management experience to our team. Traveling and experiencing other countries and cultures is a deep passion of Trina's. Prior to joining our team, she was privileged to be in the Holy Lands twice, which sparked a love for the land and a passion for providing people with the opportunity to experience the places of the Bible for themselves.
Linda Smith
Administrative Coordinator
Linda was born into a Pastor’s home in Springfield MO. She grew up in Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. Linda met and married her husband Jamie in Lubbock TX. Linda and Jamie have two grown children and over 20 years of experience in Pastoral ministry. Linda was taught from a young age the great importance Israel and the Holy Lands have to the world and the Church. She has a deep love for the local church and a passion to see people learn the Word of God and watch it come alive as they apply it to their daily lives.
